A bit of a breather for the bulls on Wall Street
With money news on KNX 1070 Frank Motech
Financial markets got the week off to a mixed start with
Japanese stock market Hitt’n it’s highest close
in more than Five years after / G7 finance leaders
Gave their blessing to Japans stimulus program/
European stocks meanwhile moved off a 5 year high/
On Wall Street both the Dow and S&P 500 kicked off a session
Of all time highs //Some money came off of the table early on
But we did see some improvement as the trade session wore on /
On news that consumers boosted spending at retail stores last month according to the commerce department /
We did see the Dollar rise against the Yen
Held steady against other major currencies /
Right now against the Yen we are at One-0-One-Eighty, were just below a Dollar Thirty versus the Euro 153 against the British Pound /
One Cent higher than the Canadian Dollar / at Twelve Sixteen versus the Mexican Peso //
The Dow came in for a closing loss of 27 points Fifteen-Thousand-Ninety-Two /
Naz Dak deposit hit a new 12 year high
Up 2 points Thirty-Four Hundred Thirty-Nine
And the S&P 500 inched up a fractional gain to a new all time high /
at Sixteen-Hundred Thirty-Four /
The yield in the 10-year note at 1.92%
Crude Oil futures down 87 Cents at Ninety-Five Seventeen per barrel /
Gold slipped Two Dollars Thirty-Cents
at Four-hundred Thirty-Four Dollars per OZ. /
Silver gained 4 Cents at Twenty-Three Seventy an OZ. /
Tesla motor stock continues on a role up another Eleven Dollars Four Cents
at Eighty-Seven-Eighty /
Apple on the rebound up a Dollar Seventy-Seven at Four Fifty-Four Seventy-Four /
